Sort of puts my Shuttle box (which I'm still quite happy with) to shame. :-)

USB Ethernet Switch
I'm not entirely sure whether this is designed for what Seth and I were talking about, but it should work.

Bytecc BT-555 5-Port USB to Ethernet Switch - $38.99 at Dealsonic. I'm tempted to pick one up for the random crap closet...
The goal is to find a USB-powered ethernet switch, and this looks like it'd do the job. I have a feeling it's designed to provide a USB-based 10/100 interface but I don't care about that, I'd just use the USB to power the unit. I'm not sure whether it does the USB Ethernet port but since I wouldn't want it for that, I'm ok with it. :)

I haven't looked at this yet, but it seems like it would be useful for many 'people like me'. :-)
