Upgraded Movable Type
Tonight was productive.
I've upgraded MovableType from 2.6 to 3.1 and got it integrated with TypeKey and MT-Blacklist. Things even seem to be working. Wow.
Please let me know if you find otherwise. :-)

Killer app -> VGA In
I've probably said this already on the blog, but the killer app I REALLY REALLY want is a black box that takes a VGA In port and spits out a signal on the other end that is either USB or Firewire.
NewEgg has a similar item: AVerMedia PC/Mac-to-TV Converter, Model "AVerKey iMicro(DKEYIMID2)" for $82 at the moment. (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-100-010&depa=8)
The next piece (required, for that box) is an SVideo/Composite to Firewire/USB that will display on whatever machine it's plugged into.
Basically, I want to use my laptop (or an iMac if I buy one) as a portable monitor. I'm tired of dragging around the 10" 800x600 screen left over from one of Amy's really old computers, when I need to put together a machine in the living room or something... :-)
Haven't found the right box yet but I'm still poking around...
I'm not the only one looking: http://www.linuxsa.org.au/pipermail/linuxsa/2004-January/064706.html

Anyone have a box like this?
