Apple Stock Price (Note to self...)
Short AAPL before the earnings announcement.
EVERY TIME. EVERY QUARTER. Apple announces huge year-over-year increases to its profits... Issues a conservative outlook... The stock drops (right now, 9.44%).
Remember, this is a company that just blew away HIGH expectations...
* $1.19 per share, 11 cents ahead of Wall Street's expectations
* Revenue jumped 38 percent
* More Macs shipped in the quarter than ever before - up 41 percent
* iPod shipments jumped 12%
However, their outlook is $1/share for the 4th quarter. So forget what you've done for me lately (where lately is defined as the last 5 years running?)... You say you'll make less next quarter than this quarter? SELL SELL SELL.
And it'd be SO easy to take advantage of this. Watch me try it for Q4, and watch them actually come in below outlook... sigh.

Oh come now, Surely everyone knows the true origin of Easter. That is the day that Zombie Jesus came back from the dead to feast on the brains of the living. We were actually saved from Zombie Jesus by a scantily clad curvaceous woman by the name of Bunny who dispatched the undead lord with brightly painted hand grenades. We celebrate and commemorate Bunny saving us by painting eggs to resemble the hand grenades and feasting. The chocolate came in with the commercialization of the holiday by the candy makers.

Apache Orchestration Director Engine 1.2 Released

The Apache ODE community is proud to announce its latest 1.2 release that includes many new features, improvements and bug fixes. Apache ODE is a WS-BPEL compliant web services orchestration engine. It organizes web services calls following a process description written in the BPEL XML grammar. Another way to describe it would be a web-service capable workflow engine.
